PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS SITE

These terms are Group tour contract placed through customer service

Zouba Travel Limited Tour Agreement

We, Zouba Travel Limited (Company House Registered Number 655911), are a travel agency registered in Scotland, UK. The following terms constitute the agreement between Zouba Travel Limited and you regarding the sale of tour packages. Please read these contract terms carefully. Your booking with Zouba Travel Limited indicates that you have read, understood, and agreed to accept these terms.

1. Scope of Agreement

This contract applies to all tour services provided by Zouba Travel Limited.

This contract does not specify the exact tour fees, which must be confirmed separately.

By making a booking, the booking party confirms on behalf of all accompanying travelers:

  • That they have read and accepted these contract terms.
  • That they are responsible for ensuring that all accompanying travelers are aware of and accept these terms.
  • That accompanying travelers may not dispute the contract terms on the basis of lack of knowledge.

2. Payment Methods and Deposit

Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of the deposit, the amount of which is specified in the itinerary.

Payment Methods:

  • GBP payment to the company bank account (must include "Name + Tour Date" as reference).
  • RMB payment calculated at the WeChat Pay exchange rate at the time of transaction.

The remaining balance must be paid to the driver-guide on the first day of the tour.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

If canceled 7 days or more before the departure date (including the 7th day), the travel agency will refund the full deposit.

If canceled within 7 days of the departure date, the deposit is non-refundable, and the departure date cannot be changed.

4. Cancellations Due to Force Majeure

If the tour is canceled due to force majeure events beyond the control of the travel agency (such as extreme weather, government restrictions, local strikes, etc.), the agency will refund the full deposit.

If a traveler cannot join the tour due to personal reasons (such as cancellations or delays of self-booked trains/flights), they must contact the relevant transport provider directly for a resolution. The travel agency bears no responsibility and will not provide refunds or rescheduling.

5. Responsibilities and Obligations

The travel agency commits to providing transportation, accommodation, and driver-guide services as agreed.

Tour participants must adhere to the itinerary and may not leave the tour or alter the schedule without permission.

The travel agency is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings. Travelers are responsible for securing their own property throughout the trip, including during transportation, accommodation, or other activities.

For accommodations booked by the travel agency on behalf of the guests, the agency shall not be held directly responsible for any discomfort or disputes arising from environmental factors (such as insect bites, odors, or noise). However, the agency may assist in communication and resolution with the accommodation provider.

Participants must arrive on time at the designated locations. A delay of more than 15 minutes will be considered as voluntary withdrawal, and the deposit will not be refunded.

6. Driver-Guide Working Hours and Overtime Charges

Standard working hours for drivers and guides are 08:30 – 18:30.

If overtime is caused by the participant, an extra charge of £50 per hour applies, payable by the participant.

If overtime is due to traffic congestion or itinerary adjustments, no additional fees will be charged to participants.

7. Vehicles and Insurance

All vehicles operated by the travel agency comply with UK traffic regulations and are covered by commercial insurance.

Under UK law, all passengers must wear seat belts while on board. Failure to comply may result in fines of up to £500, payable by the violator.

Seats on the tour vehicle are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The travel agency does not assign or guarantee specific seats and does not intervene in seating disputes.

8. Baggage Policy

The tour operates using Mercedes 9-seater vans, and luggage space is limited in compliance with vehicle weight restrictions.

Each participant is allowed one medium-sized carry-on suitcase (22 inches, 55cm x 45cm x 25cm, max 20kg).

Additionally, one small personal bag is allowed for essential items.

The travel agency reserves the right to refuse any extra luggage that has not been pre-arranged. Participants who fail to make prior arrangements for excess luggage may be denied boarding, with no refunds provided.

Baggage at Own Risk: While luggage is allowed on the vehicle, the travel agency assumes no responsibility for loss, damage, or theft. Participants must handle their own luggage, including transportation to and from accommodation locations.

9. Code of Conduct & Refusal of Service

All travelers must maintain good behavior and respect fellow participants.

The travel agency reserves the right to terminate bookings and remove any participant from the tour if they:

  • Cause disturbance, danger, or inconvenience to others, the driver-guide, or staff.
  • Damage travel agency or third-party property.
  • Severely delay the itinerary or disrupt travel operations.

If removed from the tour, the participant will:

  • Be required to leave the accommodation or itinerary immediately.
  • Not receive any refunds.
  • Be liable for any financial losses, including damages and legal fees.

The travel agency is not responsible for the actions of other travelers. The company and staff reserve the right to refuse service if deemed necessary for safety and operational reasons. In such cases, full cancellation charges apply, and the agency bears no further responsibility.

10. Accommodation Arrangements and Regulations

Accommodations follow the itinerary and are arranged in local B&Bs or guesthouses.

Participants must follow accommodation rules, including no smoking and maintaining cleanliness.

Any accommodation issues should be reported to the B&B host or driver-guide immediately.

11. Disabilities and Health Conditions

Participants must ensure they are in adequate health for travel.

Zouba Travel Limited is not a specialist in accessible travel but will make reasonable efforts to accommodate special requests.

Participants or companions with health issues or disabilities must disclose their condition prior to booking for assessment.

If a participant conceals a health condition, the travel agency has the right to cancel the booking and charge cancellation fees.

12. Force Majeure and Itinerary Adjustments

In cases of severe weather, transportation disruptions, or strikes, the itinerary may be adjusted. The travel agency reserves the right to modify the order or method of sightseeing while maintaining the overall experience.

13. Dispute Resolution

The travel agency is not liable for financial compensation due to issues arising from personal reasons or weather conditions.

All disputes should first be resolved through negotiation. If no agreement is reached, the dispute will be governed by UK law and resolved in UK courts.

14. Insurance and Consumer Policy

The travel agency does not provide personal travel insurance. Participants may purchase their own travel insurance at their discretion.

No Forced Purchases: If a participant provides valid proof of forced consumption during the trip, the travel agency will refund the full tour fee.

15. Miscellaneous

These contract terms comply with UK tourism regulations. For any questions, please contact the travel agency.

The itinerary and contract are subject to final interpretation by Zouba Travel Limited.
